Does this work for Dogs?

We have a dog that has had biopsies and found to have inflammatory bowel disease with some lymph blockage. The biggest problem we have with her is the protein enteropathy. She continues to hold fluids in her abdomen....we have her in and out of the vet and spent approx. $9,000. She's been in for 4-5 days at a time when they have administered hetastarch IV's. The first three or four visits on IV's brought her down to normal (her belly starts looking like a watermelon). We had one emergency room visit, the fluids backed up into her lungs and she nearly died that night. Since, we've had her to the regular vet several times. But now, on our last visit her legs are filling with the fluid and the vet is trying to talk us into putting her down. She is not in pain and is totally full of personality so we cannot even go there. We just started her on a series of herbs along with a new one called "seigen". I am looking at any alternative that I can think of or at least find online. Your reply will greatly be appreciated whether this might help or not. Thank you for your time!

Yes you can use the lymphatic device on dogs, we have had vets using it for show animals for that very reason. I would recommend you use the HE lymph drainage device daily until all fluid is gone and twice a week after that, my question to you is have they detected any heart malfunction? This would determine the intensity that you can use on your dog. If you have any questions please call my office I will be happy to help you in any way possible. I have three poodles myself and I understand your desperation in helping your dog. I can give you detailed advice on using the equipment on animals if need be. It should only take a few days to get the bulk of the fluid off, and a few months to restore normal function of the lymph and repair the bowel.

Good Luck
